Since I’m building up the Memorabilia part of this site now, I decided to start with the site I consider to be the absolute-best when it comes to group breaks. What is a group break? Simply put, folks combine funds to open up Memorabilia product (Baseball Cards, Basketball Cards, Hockey – you name it).
I’m starting this off with a link to my favorite site – Cardsmithsbreaks.com. It’s a private community, although quite possible to join. The owner Sam is one of the coolest people I’ve met over the years, and has a very professional approach to “Breaking” 馃檪
Back in 2016 I got back into collecting baseball cards again, and finding his site was pure gold! I got into my first breaks, and within no time I was on my way to understanding the “Law of Averages” aspect of collecting. Here is an example of a “Break” I got into back in 2016. I think I paid a whopping $30 or so on this one. You can watch the video from the beginning and see how it all works, but I’m gonna skip to a card I hit in that break just to give this post proper placement in my archives. 馃檪

At the time, Sam was helping us get cards graded, and it was so affordable! I ended up getting this card graded by BGS courtesy of Cardsmithsbreaks.com and it came back BGS Mint 9. Not bad for a card serial #’d out of /10!
I have stories for days about my adventures collecting through Sam’s site. 2016-2018 were the best years of my entire collecting life. Nothing compares. 2016 was easily the best year!
Make sure to bookmark Cardsmithsbreaks Youtube Channel as well. Wonderfully entertaining!
Again, thank you Sam for everything. You’re the best!
